Completely independent and uncompromisingly rigorous, The Great Taste Awards organised by the Guild of Fine Foods are a benchmark of excellence – trusted by retailers, buyers and consumers. These Awards for the speciality food and drink sector are widely held to be the equivalent of Michelin awards for fine dining.
This year’s winners will be revealed on 6 September at Fortnum and Mason. And hot on the heels of that announcement Michelin-starred Chef Sat Bains (of Restaurant Sat Bains in Nottingham) will construct a menu at the Abergavenny Food Festival incorporating the winning products. See him work his magic in the Market Hall on Sunday 19 September on the Robert Price Kitchen Stage. This event is one of a rolling programme of chef dems in the Market Hall – all free to holders of the 6-Venue Stroller Ticket.
